❤️ I'm slowly learning that I shouldn't react to everything that annoys me

I'm slowly learning that I shouldn't I react to everything, which annoys me.

I'm slowly learning that I shouldn't hurt those who hurt me. I'm slowly learning that perhaps the ultimate sign of maturity is walking away rather than settling accounts.
I'm slowly learning that the energy it takes to react to all bad, that happens to you drains you and prevents you from seeing the good things in life.

I'm slowly learning that I'm not going to please everyone and that I'm not going to get everyone to treat me the way I want and that's okay.

I'm slowly learning that the persistent try to "win", anyone, are a waste of time and energy and they only leave a void.
I'm slowly learning that a lack of reaction doesn't mean things are okay with me, it just means I'm choosing to rise above it. I choose to take the lesson I am given and learn it.

I choose to be the bigger person.

I choose peace of mind, because I really need it. I don't need any more drama. I don't need people to make me feel like I am not good enough. I don't need inhibitions, arguments and fake relationships.

I'm slowly learning that sometimes silence says it all.

I'm slowly learning that reacting to things that upset you gives someone power over yours emotions. You can't control the actions of others, but you can control your reactions and how you deal with challenges and how and how much you want to take them personally. Read more: 7 laws of life

I'm slowly learning that most of the time, these situations say nothing about you, but a lot about the other person.

I'm slowly learning that maybe all these disappointments are just there to teach us how to love ourselves because it will the armor and the shield, which we need, against the people who try to put us down. They will save us when people try to shake our confidence or when they try to make us feel worthless.

I'm slowly learning that even if I react, nothing will change, it won't suddenly make people love and respect me, it won't magically change their minds.

Sometimes it's better to leave things alone the arbitrariness of fate, letting people go, not fighting an argument, not asking for explanations, not chasing answers, and not expecting people to understand why you think the way you do.

I'm slowly learning that life is better lived when you don't focus on what's happening around you, but when you focus on what's happening within yourself.

Work on yourself and your inner peace and you'll realize that not reacting to every little thing that upsets you is the first ingredient to a happy, healthy, fulfilling life.
