❤️ Meditation is a super easy way to rejuvenate by 7 years

Meditation not only frees the mind but also keeps us younger

Regular meditation in middle age rejuvenates our brains by seven and a half years, new research reveals. Scientists believe that the combination of intense concentration and relaxation can trigger the formation of new brain cells.

According to many people who meditate are smarter,

but new studies are finding the technique's connection to Alzheimer's disease and the decreasing risk of memory loss with age. A collection of meditations

The scientists scanned the brains of 50 American men and women,

who meditated regularly, as well as those of 50 non-meditators. The results were processed by a computer program that analyzed the images according to the age of the participants and their physical condition.

And the results were astounding.

The brain age of the non-meditators was the same as their actual age, i.e. 55-year-olds had the brains of 55-year-olds, no more, no less.

But what is more interesting is what happens in the group of meditators - their brains were younger than themselves.

Thus, the 50-year-old participants in the experiment ended up with 43-year-old brains.

The benefits increase with age. For every year after 50, meditation reduces the age of the brain by a full year. Read more: What happens when you start meditating?

"This study showed that the technique keeps the brain younger and reduces the rate of aging later in life," explained German experts from the University Hospital in Germany.
