Forgiveness is a GIFT you give yourself! Let the past go!

You start each new week with the firm determination that you will change certain things and habits in yourself. You know it, right? Me too! And very soon after that you find yourself again you live in the past. That you don't stop tormenting yourself about old things, that you don't stop feeling pain when certain memories come back to you. Forgiveness is not about excusing others for hurting us, it is conscious personal liberty act and choosing happiness in your life and leaving pain in the past, right where it belongs.

Forgiveness is not a frivolous act, but growth and awareness.

It is not a question of suppressing feelings and emotions, but of processing them so that they no longer poison us. By remembering certain past unpleasant events we actually voluntarily bring them into our present and agree to have them be a part of it. But the past has no place in today.  And if you don't practice forgiveness, you're actually paying an unnecessarily high price. You allow something to be present in your life much more than it needs to be. But you seem to be associating forgiveness with something or someone outside of yourself. Have you ever thought that the hardest forgiveness is the one you give to yourself? You seem to be the most critical and demanding of yourself. And as if it is much more possible for you to justify and forgive others. And why are you missing yourself? To be truly happy, you must be able to forgive. Not to keep this poisonous energy inside you.

BUT HOW TO FORGIVE? THIS IS HOW!

So, forgiveness is a decision...a decision to let go of the past...a decision by which you set yourself free. Give yourself the gift of freedom …purge the poison in you. It's time to make that decision...NOW!

Forgiveness is a powerful tool to use any time you undertake any detoxification of the body, any diet or eating regimen. Also before and during fasts. During these periods, we detox the body at a very deep level. That is why it is good to be preceded by a detoxification of the mind and the emotions.
